Why Synopsis IAS?

Prelims Test Series

Paper 1: General Studies & Paper 2: CSAT

  1. Realistic: 50% of the questions in every test are taken from Previous Year Questions, which makes Synopsis Test Series realistic.
  2. Once learned never missed: Every new test has revision questions from previous tests. Eg. Test 4 has revision questions from test 1-3. Test 9 has revision questions from test 1-8. This unique approach forces you to be in touch with all the subjects.(India and World).
  3. Analytics: You will be provided a unique merit list, where you can assess yourself on the following parameters.
    o Attempted questions
    o Correct questions
o Silly mistakes: this is one of the important parameters for improving yourself. Most of the sincere students fail into Prelims due to silly mistakes, and not due to lack of knowledge. For ex. When the fight is of 1-2 marks only, every 3 silly mistakes reduce your 8 marks.
o Guess work: you can assess number of questions solved with intelligent guess working.
  4. Three simulator days: Final 6 tests are conducted on 3 Simulator days, strictly on Prelims pattern. i.e. Morning session (9:30-11:30 am) and Afternoon session (2:30-4:30 pm). This helps to adapt with the hectic exam conditions of two sessions in a single day.
  5. Two level Approach: Unique Initiative by Synopsis IAS.
  6. Three difficulty levels: Level 2 tests candidates with three different difficulty levels:
o Basic level tests candidates in the (a) understanding of the basic concepts; and (b) coverage of fundamental sources.
o Applied level tests candidate’s subject knowledge along with their analytical and application- oriented approach with relevance to current affairs.
o Full length tests cover all the levels of difficulties and all the types of questions similar to the UPSC Prelims paper.
